Croxley Recycling has operated since 2007, developing New Zealands largest network of recycling collection points in businesses, universities, schools, hospitals, government departments, banks and retailers. In all there are 18,000 business collection points. This operation recycles imaging consumables, such as toner cartridges, as well as dismantling and recycling printers, computers, office electronic equipment, mobile phones and other electronic devices. Cartridges from all major brands are accepted, including Ricoh, Brother, Canon, Konica, Minolta and Sharp.
Through our schemes 400,000 cartridges, and 200 tonnes of recyclable material including non-biodegradable plastics are diverted from the landfill every year. We are the only total collection and recycling service for used imaging consumables.
Croxley Recycling is able to offer secure pathways to meaningful repurposing for waste products. For example metal and circuit boards are separated for recycling while plastic is sent to local manufacturers to be incorporated into items such as electric fence insulators. Another of the companys partners has developed a pathway for waste toner powder to be used in paint.
